If you like Firestones on Film and are sad that we can sometimes go for several weeks without an update, then I have wonderful news for you! Beginning next week, Janni and myself will be posting once a week. One of us will post Monday morning about a fun movie to get your week going right. After all, we all dread Mondays, since they are the end of a weekend and the beginning of a new week, so we thought we'd make your Monday a bit more enjoyable. The other of us will post Friday morning about another film, either one to get your weekend going or one that you should avoid at all costs, depending on the week. We will still post at other random times as well, but we've set up this schedule so that you will not have to go long periods of time without a post. If you haven't subscribed yet, you should definitely do so now and make sure you don't miss any updates!
Today, I just added a poll. This will be updated weekly (usually on Fridays). Often, they will fit some sort of theme. This week the theme is romance because Valentine's Day (or Single Awareness Day, for people like myself) is coming up. Sometimes, however, when there's nothing exciting happening soon, I will just post something random...
Also, you may have noticed the Firestones on Film Recommends link on the right side of the screen under "Sites we Like." This is an Amazon store that we have set up for films one or both of us find to be awesome and ownable. You can check it out for film recommendations to rent or to buy, so please don't feel too pressured by the fact that it's a store. It's a convenient way for all our favorite films to be listed. Just purchase films if you want them :)
