Hello all! I am happy to report that Spring is coming and the weather is turning nicer. This has no reflection on how many movies we'll be watching, though. Anyways, I just wanted to update you on a few...updates to the blog and what the month of April brings.
You may notice that we have added tabs at the top. This is for first-time visitors and also for you. The first is an About Us tab. This allows you to read a bit about what Firestones on Film is and you can meet the Firestones as individuals. Also, this gives an email address if you would like to contact us for questions or even submit a review yourself. (We especially welcome rebuttals on our reviews. If you have a differing opinion, please let us know via comment or submission.)
The other tab is an alphabetical list of all the films we've covered. This makes it easy for you and others to check on any movies you may want to read about.
Finally, we have declared the month of April Actor's Month (for no reasons other than alliteration and the fact that it seemed fun). We will be posting at least twice a week on one of our favorite actors in what we consider their best role. Janni and myself may at times write about the same actor, but we may differ in which role we think they play best, so we'll write on both. Once again, we welcome submissions. Feel free to email your own review about an actor of your choice.
I will write the first actors post on Friday and we'll keep it going from there. If you haven't already, you should use one of the handy buttons to your right and follow us or subscribe.
